Since his creation, the Riddler has been all over the place. Between Frank Gorshin's cackling Riddler in the 1960s Batman series and the youthful pre-Riddler seen on Gotham, to the darker, more cerebral Riddler seen in today's Arkham games, this green-suited gangster with his distinctive question mark cane has haunted Batman for decades, and he's likely to be around for many years to come. Amidst this assembly of colorful characters, there's one ingenious trickster who is almost, almost as popular as the Joker himself: the Riddler. Bad guys like the Penguin, Catwoman, Two-Face, and the Scarecrow are almost as well known as the dark knight himself. In the last decade, movies such as Batman Begins and Suicide Squadhave also popularized characters like Ra's al Ghul, Harley Quinn, and Bane.

There's really no question that when it comes to rogues galleries there is no superhero whose cast of no-good scoundrels is as recognizable as Batman's.
